Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to tell you about the launch and to improve the device. We don't sell data and we don't use advertising trackers.
Who processes your data
The data controller is the APIOLI LINK ONE team. For anything related to your data, including access or deletion requests, write to contact@apioli.com.
Launch email list
- We store your e‑mail address, optionally your stated interest, motor model and first and last name (if you give them in the chat), the sign-up source (form or chat), the page language, the sign-up date, your browser (user agent) and a hash of your IP address (one-way, for spam protection, not the address itself).
- Purpose: a single message when sales open. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- The data is kept on our hosting server in Poland, outside the public part of the site. A notification about each new sign-up also goes to the team's mailbox.
- We keep it until sales open, or until you withdraw consent if that happens first.
Beta application
- We store your full name, e‑mail address, phone number, address, chosen delivery method (courier or parcel locker), bike model, optionally your display model and what you write about yourself, plus the page language, application date, browser (user agent) and a hash of your IP address (for spam protection).
- Purpose: choosing beta testers and contacting you about the beta, including sending the terms and payment details. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Address suggestions and parcel locker search: the postal code, address or rounded location you enter (the location only after you click “Lockers near me” and allow it in your browser) is sent through our server to the GUGiK address register, the kodpocztowy.intami.pl postal code database or the InPost points API. Your IP address is not passed on to them.
- The application is stored on the hosting server in Poland, outside the public part of the site, and sent to the team's mailbox.
- If you do not become a tester, we delete the application no later than 6 months after the recruitment ends. If you do, we keep the data needed for the sale as long as tax law and the statutory warranty require.
Diagnostic logs from the device
- When the device panel is open on a phone with internet access, it uploads diagnostic logs to our server. This is on by default; you can switch it off in the panel under Advanced.
- Logs contain technical data about the bike and device: device ID, firmware version, settings, battery state, odometer, speed, power, events, crash reports and a record of the communication between the display and the controller. They contain no GPS location and no account data, because there is no account.
- Purpose: finding bugs and improving the firmware and, if we enable access for you, ride statistics in the rider dashboard. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the product working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Only the team can access the logs. We keep a limited amount of data per device and the oldest data is deleted automatically. On request, we will delete your device's logs.
Chat on the website
Questions typed into the chat are sent to a language model provider (OpenRouter), which generates the answer. We don't store conversations. We use a hash of your IP address to limit the number of requests. If you ask, the chat can add you to the launch list: after your consent we store the e-mail address you give and, optionally, your name and motor model, the same as with the form. Otherwise, please don't enter personal data in the chat.
Rider dashboard
After you sign in with an access code, the site sets a single technical session cookie. We store the code only as a hash.
Site traffic and video
The host keeps standard server logs (including IP address and request time) for security. We don't use Google Analytics or advertising pixels. The YouTube video loads only after you click “Play”; Google's privacy terms apply from then on.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, to object, and to withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
